How we can show solidarity with black communities and protestors

A list of helpful resources, links, petitions, further reading and viewing collated from sources across social media.

As a publication that exists because of and benefits from black culture, we stand in solidarity with George Floyd and those fighting against racial injustice in both the US and across the world.

It’s time for us to step up and take responsibility, to educate ourselves and actively participate in anti-racism work, to understand our own white privilege, to stand up for our peers and call out systemic injustices.

We still have plenty more work to do at Ransom Note to ensure we are supporting and providing an equal and inclusive space for POCs, using our platform to amplify their voices.

We’ve collated some of the helpful resources, petitions, links and reading materials we’ve seen shared across social media by others. We do not claim any responsibility for the creation of these resources - we are just circulating those that we’ve seen online and found helpful.

This is by no means a comprehensive list, and we’d welcome any feedback on other links/resources that can be added to this article. We will continue to update this.

For any other websites who wish to use them, we have produced ad banners for causes to donate to. Please find them linked HERE. There are many more funds you can donate to, some of which are listed below.
