THE MAIN STORY OF THE DAY…JUNIOR DOCTORS STRIKE BACK

In this increasingly materialistic world, when you boil it all down there are very few things that as a human race we need. Nutrients is one, oxygen another, and those mini Chicago Town 4 cheese pizzas a third. Oh, and baked beans of course, but NOT those baked beans with mini sausages in you capitalist swine.

One of the main things we need in life is our health, our ability to breath, our ability to think and our ability to basically keep ourselves alive long enough for another Boards of Canada album. People that help us keep ourselves alive are nurses, doctors, physicians, surgeons and junior doctors, so it is those people who deserve a free pass in life you would think. Keep them happy, ensure they can afford a few simple luxuries and so forth. Apparently though that isn't the case, as junior doctors have announced a fresh round of five day strikes in the face of Jeremy Hunt's enforced contract changes, a man who is seemingly invincible. Kinda like the Terminator or Bruce Forsyth, Jeremy will live forever. He does not feel pain nor does he become sick, he is the middle-class Tory Terminator dressed not in a leather jacket but a bargain bin Next suit.

Now I have never nor will I probably ever support the actions of Eamonn Holmes. Pre-Sky News Eamonn was the nation's Dad, he would notice the smell of weed on your clothes and not tell your mother as he did the same when he was a youth. He'd take you to the dog races and sneak you pints while you're underage, that was pre-Sky News Eamonn. Now at Sky News Eamonn is a bullied child out to prove himself as an adult. Now he's your Mum's new boyfriend and he's had enough of your shit. He's not even your real Dad but he's making you clean the table and is turning off your television programmes to watch DIY SOS. Anyway, that said, I have a slither of respect for him after this.

AND NOW FOR THE NEWS IN BRIEF…

WHO PAYS?

BIN GETS WHAT'S COMING TO HIM

NATION CONTINUES TO HUG DOGS
