"Hot food products in Liverpool: FOI Request to the Cabinet Office

Please publish an itemised list of all receipts claimed by Mr Cameron, officials or special advisers for food purchases made at any of the above train stations, as part of any visits to Liverpool undertaken since 11 May 2010.
I understand that under the Act, I should be entitled to a response within 20 working days of your receipt of this email." What a legend Tom Watson is.

"I know it's massively inconvenient for Boris and his mates to be investigated by the met." Chris Bryant on Boris' assistant compaining about the amount of police time spent on phone hacking.

"Have you run over anybody?" Gotta love the Prince Phililp-meister address to someone on a mobility scooter!

"In 2010 Boris Johnson called phone hacking 'a load of codswallop cooked up by the Labour Party' and 'a song and dance about nothing'. Now we discover his deputy, Kit Malthouse, personally intervened with the Police Commissioner to argue for reduced resources for the inquiry and attacked the story as 'hysteria'. This amounts to a clear political intervention designed to intimidate the Met into dropping an investigation. Considering that the investigation has thus far uncovered bribery of police officers by the Sun, mass criminality at the News of the World and a deliberate attempt to pervert the course of justice by News International, both Boris Johnson and Kit Malthouse's interventions show that they are more interested in protecting their cronies than in pursuing justice." Chris Bryant

Right enough with the politics. RBMA lectures on Wednesday were rather special. Frankie Knuckles & James Murphy…spoiled! Sitting 3 feet from the Chicago humble legend was quite a special moment. Just been reading this excellent article from Gerd Janson from a while back on their site The Kids Call It House Music – really good.

Is Mercury stil going in reverse??
Beautiful glorious March weather don't get me wrong – doesn't hold breath as rumours about it's dropping back to 10 deg tomorrow – but everything and anything technology related that can go wrong has gone wrong today. Oh, really important thing I have to do/post/send, oh hang no right internet's gone down completely. That's cool, I'll sort it out on my phone. Oh what's that your phone's just died completely. What, it says it's loading and gets to about 99% – after 10 mins – and then crashes again… cool. Nah that's really good. Technology + me =

Let us move quickly forwards to the good stuff to brighten the weekend.

Relaying railway tracks – actually fascinating.

An old one but a good one: Stare at the four black dots in the center of the image for 30 – 60 seconds.  Then quickly close your eyes and look at something bright (like a lamp or a window  with sunlight coming through it). You should see a white circle with an image inside it.

Something from my good friend Tendraw… he knows me so well!
