The New World Order

Not seen this yet but looks rather good…
The New World Order
By Harold Pinter | Hydrocracker
16 November 2011 – 11 December 2011
19:00, 21:15
Shoreditch Town Hall
Staged in a former government building, Hydrocrackers darkly compelling promenade performance journeys from the council chambers of high-minded policymakers to the labyrinthine depths below, where functionaries of the new world order keep the world clean for democracy.
Interweaving five of Harold Pinters miniature masterpieces Press Conference, One for the Road, Precisely, Mountain Language and The New World Order this immersive experience draws audiences into the heart of the action, transforming them from passive viewers to complicit witnesses.
One of the most acclaimed site-specific works of recent years, The New World Order can now be seen in London for the first time, poignantly presented in Pinters home borough of Hackney.
‘ …a shattering experience that brings Pinters world directly home.’ The Guardian *****
