Watch Cyber-Punk Sci Fi Short ‘Aphelion Point’

'Aphelion Point' is a brutal and surreal sci-fi short that combines scratchy animation, squalling free jazz, and plentiful references to genre classics into a fittingly fucked up blast of cyber punk. It may not make too much sense, but it looks and sounds amazing in the process… 

Showing as part of the recent FrightFest film festival, the short has now been streamed through indie film site Twitch, and is available to watch below. The film is the debut of prolific movie podcaster Dan Auty, and augers well for his future – check out his previous podcasts (dealing with such gems as "Zebraman 2: Attack On Zebra City", and "Killer Klowns From Outer Space") over here
