‘The Long Nights’ Exhibition In London Showcases Artists With Learning Disabilities

Art & Culture

Respected arts collective Intoart is holding it's winter fundraising exhibition later this month. The non-profit organisation promotes equality of opportunity to people with learning disabilities by creating spaces in which new audiences can celebrate the excellence of their artwork. Having held exhibitions in galleries including Whitechapel Gallery, Tate Modern and Mad Musée in Liege, this season's fundraiser 'The Long Nights' will be held at the Fitzrovia Gallery, London. It features work from Ntiense Eno Amooquaye, Kevin Jacobs, Mawuena Kattah, Yoshiko Phillips, Philomena Powell and Clifton Wright and "evokes the mood of wintertime in the Northern hemisphere, celebrating both the warmth and sparkle of family and fireside, and the mysteries and darkness of the world outside". Artwork and other Intoart designed products are for sale during the event with proceeds directly supporting the charity.

The Long Nights is at Fitzrovia Gallery, London on 29th November – 3rd December 2016 and details are HERE. For more information on Intoart look HERE.
