Pop Up Screens Films Announced

Pop Up Screens, the cinema to go to if you don't actually want to be in a cinema, have announced the list of movies they will be screening across London from July to August.

Looking at Pop Up Screens' line up, their love for classic cinema is obvious. In July they will be kicking off the season nostalgically with Labyrinth for fans of David Bowie's crotch, 10 Things I Hate About You for Heath Ledger lovers, and Big for Tom Hanks' undying charm. All these films will be screening against the picturesque Greenwich Peninsula.

In August, the 80s kick in with Ghostbusters, Dirty Dancing, The Goonies, and Footloose. Pop Up Screens have also arranged a night under the stars for the romantic in you (or the romantic with you) with screenings of Four Weddings and a Funeral, When Harry Met Sally and Baz Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet. Try not to swoon too hard at young Leo Dicaprio. But if it's a juicy movie you want, one that you can sink your teeth in to and quote until the night is done, then Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski, and Stand By Me will also make appearances.

Finally, to round off your summer, September will bring Grease in Fulham's Bishop Park. Also, if it's a good cry you're after then you can go to The Lion King, Up, or The Notebook screenings in Ravenscourt Park. Plus, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves will also be showing for a good bit of Alan Rickman.
