Nick Simpson recreates the story of a night out in new short animation film

The Melbourne based animation artist and filmmaker has created a new short which he has released online in an attempt to recreate a night out in the midst of an ongoing global pandemic. The short film features music by Francis Inferno Orchestra and charts the story of a young ethereal tripped out experience in a distinctive red room as the music bangs.
Nick describes the project as follows:
“The main goal I had with this film was to recreate the atmosphere of a sweaty and raucous nightclub. An illustrated love letter to the heaving mass. So many people right now are missing that opportunity to come together and dance.”
