News: Ica London To Screen No Home Movie Chantal Akerman’s Final Film

Chantal Akerman passed away in 2015, prior to the release of her final film, No Home Movie.

ICA London have announced today that they will screen the film from 24th June – 30th June, alongside Club Des Femmes short film, 'La Ducha' (28th June).

No Home Movie is Akerman's most personal, intimate film to date, dilvulging the details and dynamics of her relationship with her mother over the course of her final year.

A number of introductions and Q&A's with colleagues and friends of Akerman will accompany weekend showings at the ICA.

Friday 24 June, 8.15pm –  Claire Atherton, editor of No Home Movie and Akerman collaborator will introduce and book-end with a Q&A session. 

Saturday 25 June, 8.45pm – Ben Gibson, friend, colleague and Director of DFFB (Berlin Film School) introduces the screening. 

Sunday 26 June, 6.20pm – Ruth Novaczek, artist and film producer introduces the screening. 

Wednesday 29th June – Feminist film theorist Laura Mulvey introduces the screening.
