London Celebrates ‘Month Of The Dead’ With Talks, Ghostly Tales & Shows

The London Month of the Dead is a celebration (if that's the word) of the capitals relationship with death, with a series of events curated by Antique Beat and A Curious Invitation. Taking place in some of London's most beautiful/creepy cemeteries, events include various workshops on taxidermy, a number of tours of London's ancient charnel houses, magic lantern puppet shows held after dark, talks on the ghosts and murders of London, and a couple of musical performances, including a candlelit theremin show held in Brompton Cemetery Chapel on the day before Halloween. There's a full program here – and, ghoulish creatures of the night that we are, it all looks amazing. 

The season is being run to raise funds for Brompton and Kensal Green cemeteries, with 20% of all ticket sales ging towards maintaining these decaying, iconic Victorian built gardens of sleep. Tickets and more information available from LondonMonthOfTheDead.com
