Lee Scratch Perry’S Vision Of Paradise Set For Uk Premiere
Early next month, a film documenting the musical and spiritual journey of the legendary Lee 'Scratch' Perry will be screening in London for the very first time at the East End Film Festival.
With the film's debut screening set for Saturday 4th July, director Volker Schaner allows fans an opportunity to follow Perry through a documentary which spans 15 years and features an all-star cast of dub and reggae-related musicians. Due to the length of which the pair were on the road together, Schaner gains Perry's trust which means we're able to see an awful lot more than you'd get if you simply spent a couple of weeks tracking the godfather of both reggae and dub.
For anyone that's ever so much as swayed along to a reggae track, this is one film that you're just going to have to see. You'd be foolish to miss it. Here's a trailer to get you excited;
