Karel Doing To Host Circadian Maps Exhibition At Mmx
Karel Doing is an Australian experimental artist and filmmaker. His earlier work experimented with Dada filmmaking and included mostly historical images and uses both analogue and digital formats in his pictures.
The exhibition comes from Doing’s experiments with film emulsion; he doesn’t use light to expose the film but instead uses things like salt and mud.
This solo exhibition is the first part of a series and will be available to the public on the 26th February – 9th April, with a private viewing on the 25th February.
