Houghton launches fundraising incentive with Art and Merchandise

Despite having sold out for several years in succession Houghton festival was deemed ineligible for Government support as an arts organisation in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. With the festival scheduled to take place in only a few weeks time the event has been forced to launch a fundraising initiative to ensure its survival and capacity to proceed in early August.
Festival founder Craig Richards has worked to create and produce a series of exclusive and limited merchandise and artwork in order to raise crucial funds and keep the festival afloat. The news was announced via the festival’s social media platforms and website on Friday.
The range includes prints, t shirts, postcards and accessories with proceeds going towards the support of the much loved event.
