Todd Terje Comes To A Manchester Cathedral
On 11th September, in the gothic surroundings of the Manchester Cathedral, Freeze and DHP will be presenting a special one off performance from Todd Terje. Liverpool's Freeze were the first promoters to put on an electronic music event in a practicing cathedral and have taken advantage of the North West's heritage sites to organise parties in places as diverse as a bombed out church, Williamson tunnels and St George’s Hall.
This time round the setting could hardly be more awe-inspiring, as if you've ever set foot in Manchester's cathedral you will know- an enormous, ornately carved rood screen sections off the chancel from the cavernous body where worshippers will be replaced by a different kind of congregation this September for a set by Norway's Todd Terje.
You'll be asking yourself questions like, "But can I drop my empty can on the floor of the house of God?" Even if you're not religious.
Tickets go on sale on 6th August and you can find more info here.
