Wow, that was a weekend and a half down here!!

Terry Farley @ Big Fun on Friday was completely amazing… one of the best parties we’ve had down here. Saturday’s Man Make Music completely smashed the roof off the place too. Julio Bashmore!!!! Cheers all who came and witnessed either nights of enormity. Quick heads up on next month’s Big Fun party. The legendary Slipmatt will be dropping by! Doesn’t come much bigger on the revival front now does it?

This weekend two regulars return in the form of the excellent The Inn Step with special guest Dean Mushin (Bearweasel) exploring the roots and influence of house on Friday. Then the quarterly Dick & Fanny crank things up further on the Saturday with Discodromo flying in from Berlin specially for the occasion! Elsewhere Pub Disko bridges the gap between the week and the weekend and there’s the ever amazing Your Pub Quiz on Tuesday.

Not forgetting all the action Golf, Commonwealth Games and Football related… oh and Super Sunday roasts!

Dick and Fanny welcomes DISCODROMO (BERLIN), FERAL aka MC KINKY, QUEER COUNCIL DJs and THE DUCHESS OF PORK to the decks for the usual mix of classic house and techno, italo and hi nrg to entertain a mixed audience of dykes, fags, trannies and their admirers
12pm – 4am.
Free before 9pm/3 before 10 5 after.

Sunday 10th
Super Sunday Roasts
12pm – 12am.
Free entry.

Football at The Star: The new season is here. We’ve sold our respective first borns and we’ve got S** Sports in the pub. That means a lot of Premiership, Champions League, FA Cup, La Liga, Serie A, Championship, Tiddlywinks etc etc all in the comfort of our upstairs bar. Come on down or even reserve a table for the big match.
