Soulclap’s 90s Jam last Wednesday is being written into local folklore as we speak. Big up to all off you who made it a special one.
This week it’s Wbeeza‘s turn to write himself into Star history as he joins Man Make Music for a special live set this Saturday.
With a string of releases on Third Ear recordings and recently signed to Secret Sundaze Secret Agency, Wbeeza is one of London’s most
innovative house and techno producers

When playing live, Wbeeza is generally not mixing tracks. Instead he is creating music on the fly from beats and pieces to create a largely improvised performance that is different every night.

Support comes from Hot Flush’s George Fitzgerald and MMM regulars Bruk, Sketchy and Another Amit. We’ll be open until 4am and entry is a snip at 5 from 10pm.

Football at The Star: After all the fun of the World Cup we’ve decided that, (drum roll) we’ll be showing all the footballing action from the new
season starting with this week’s Charity/Community Shield on Sunday 3pm. That means Premiership, Champions League and those other
lower leagues (whatever they are called these days) all in the comfort of
our upstairs bar. There will also be cricket, rugby and a host of other sport to get stuck into in the coming months. We’re very excited – though
productivty in the office is about to take a dramatic drop.

Pub Disko
In association with Four Roses Bourbon – Bridge the gap between the week and the weekend as the Pub Disko boys straddle the fines line between house, disco and balaeric. There’s also cheap Mint Julep
cocktails to help getting the party going.

Sunday:
Sunday Roasts ’til late plus all the action from the Charity/Community Shield from 3pm.

5 Lunches Monday to Friday? You read it right. Every weekday lunchtime we are offering main meals for the meagre sum of 5. Treat yourself and your friend/bloke from the office to a pizza, steak, pie, burger, salad, anything at all really.

World Cup at The Star: The big tournament is nearly finished! We’ll be showing all the remaining games including the final this week. Watch it while you can otherwise it’s a 4 year wait!

We are open all day, everyday serving food from 11.30am. We have a constantly evolving menu with daily specials, lunch deals and fantastic coffee. Pop by! x
