It looks like Corsica Studios have isolated the one thing that their venue doesn't do better than everyone else: sunshine. Not, however, any longer. In collaboration with the social housing association Peabody Trust, The Corsica have just taken over a new open air site 5 minutes from their much loved club. Looking like a cross between a Camberwell art show and the Cantina bar from Star Wars, Paperworks has started strong with sets from the Church crew and Trouble Vision resident Park Ranger, and – crucially – some of the sunniest weather we've seen all year.
Currently they're only opening Friday through Sunday, promising to "expand our music programme and combine this with creative arts experiences, a selection of contemporary street-food and exceptional drinks and cocktails to create a new open-air destination venue for South London." You can check the events timetable over on their swish looking website for more details.
