Sub Pop To Curate Stage At Poland’s Off Fest

Art & Culture

We're increasingly into the booking policy of Off Festival, Poland's annual left of centre music gathering. Alongside this year's fest seeing appearances from electrode botherers Fuck Buttons, doom titans Earth and genuine New York no wave legend, Glenn Branca, the festival has just announced that they plan to hand a stage over to the steady hands of Seattle evergreens Sub Pop.

The line up on the stage will cover the labels disparate interests, veering from the aural warfare of Wolf Eyes, to the dustbowl garage rock of Wild Books, to the moody synth pop of London's Lyla Foy. The full line up (announced so far):

Wolf Eyes (Detroit, MI), Rose Windows (Seattle, WA), clipping. (Los Angeles, CA), Lyla Foy (London, UK), Protomartyr (Detroit, MI), Kaseciarz (Krakow, PL) and Wild Books (Warszawa, PL).

Running from August 1st – 3rd in Katowice, tickets for the festival are currently start at a whopping £42 for 3 days. Which is slightly more expensive than buying a one day peaktime travel card, for three days.
