Sub Club Breaks Into August
Glasgow's Sub Club has pretty much established itself as the definitive subterranean aural paradise north of Hadrian's Wall since way back 87. We're pretty sure you know what Sub Club is by now but for some fun trivia and milestones head to the Heritage section of Sub Club's site. Sub Club top trumps comes in the form of removing a sticky carpet in 1994 and a fire forcing the club to close for three years in 1999.
What does August have in store to add to this series of revolutionary events? Well, revelling in the Sub Club upbringing that has influenced their sound, Glaswegian stalwarts Silicone Soul will be taking control on the 8th of August. Following that, Horse Meat Disco storm in on the 15th of August for the kind of decadent all nighter Fred Phelps' nightmares were made of, and then Gerd Janson will do his thing on the 22nd of August. Kink and Telford will round off the month on the 29th followed by a boat and afterparty with Tim Sweeney to kick off the impending Autumn season.
