Well, well that was the weekend that was!
Perfect weather all the way… pretty much.
Thursday night’s Shoplifter w/ Ivan Smagghe was, without doubt one of the best nights we’ve had down SOK way in the 5 short months since throwing our doors open. Hats off to selectors Ivan, Craig & Derren. It’s nights like that when SOK comes into it’s own. Proper, intimate party vibes.
BBQ Saturday on Sat wasn’t half bad neither.

3 day week, yay oh yay. What and another 4 day one next week? Dammmn!
Scuse the essay below but there’s a whole heap of things going on this weekend.

Contrary to popular belief we will not be hosting the reception rave at Willies & Katies royal wedding.
Some more of the very, very good stuff is just round the corner, tomorrow night in fact in the form of the London launch of the Electric Elephant Festival tomorrow night.
Instead expect One deck selecting a go-go upstairs with The Unabombers, Severino (Horse Meat Disco), Luke Solomon (Classic), Dom Servini (Wah Wah 45s), Balearic Mike… the list goes on. Downstairs in the basement Bad Passion & Smooth Sailing Crew will be looking after affairs.
Expect a horse drawn carriage to deliever another Electric Elephant Riot.

Tired of Will’s & Kate yet? Drop by SOK for Make Me’s 3rd Birthday on Friday instead. Its been an unforgettable 18 months for Make Me. Theyve had Troxler on the dancefloor, Lee Curtiss dropping Billy Ocean, Bodycodes gold jacket, Ryan Elliott playing all night and had a great time doing it. And we’re super pleased to help em celebrate their troisieme anniversaire avec The Mole, Jozif (wolf & lamb) & Alex Jones.

Couple this on Sat with The Off Key Hats Dangerous Machine album launch w/ DJ support from Yam Who and you’ve got one hell of a bank holiday weekend.
