Need2soul At The Round Chapel For An August Bank Holiday All-Dayer

This August Bank Holiday, what are you doing? Might you be heading to Hackney's Round Chapel for an all-dayer of Chicago house from Need2Soul? Will you be watching godfathers of the Chicago scene Glenn Underground and Boo Williams, both playing extended sets as Strictly Jaz Unit to celebrate the release of their forthcoming album on the relaunched Need2Soul Music? Will you? Would you be interested in seeing local spinners Sam Don and djsoulprovyder warming things up from early doors? Could you be eating gourmet street food from the venders outside to refuel your energy supplies for dancing to said spinners? Could you? I think you could.
Need2Soul have been delivering timeless house, disco and soul since 2004 at their night which has become an antidote to mainstream clubland in London. The party has hosted deep house masters including Ron Trent, Moodymann, Theo Parrish, and the Body & Soul trio (Danny Krivit, Francois K & Joe Claussell).
The label, Need2Soul Music was established in 2005 to house some of the unreleased material spun at the legendary parties, putting out killer original music from house giants such as Ron Trent, Robert Owens, Roland Clark, Anthony Nicholson and of course Glenn Underground. After taking a hiatus, the crew is back with a release from Strictly Jaz Unit, ten years on from the founding of the label, and we're very excited!
These all-day shenanigans shall be occurring on 30th August, find out more here. Buy tickets here.
