ManMakeMusic The Final Star

All good things come to an end and on Saturday December 3rd we'll be getting down at the Star for a final time. 

It's been over two years since we threw our first party at there, and we've enjoyed every single one we've done. Big thanks to all our regulars who made the vibe there so special, and all the wonderful staff at the Star who have helped us along the way and (hopefully) forgiven us for dumping 20kg of confetti on their carpets. 

To party the night away in style we've invited the brilliant Swedish duo Genius of Time to play. Genius of Time are responsible for one of the hottest tracks of 2011, an unlikely remix of Whitney Houston entitled 'Houston We Have a Problem'. It's been a mainstay in the record boxes of all our residents and can be relied on to destroy the dance each and every time. 

On the bill for the night we also have Jack Dixon and Rick Grant. Jack and Rick are behind the second release on ManMakeMusic. The Running Man EP will be due out in late November, and it includes a brilliantly strange Kevin McPhee remix. Jack and Rick have been producing quality house records at a crazy rate in recent months, with releases between them on Brownswood, Hypercolour and TAKE,, and you can guarantee this will not be the last you hear of these two talented Londoners in connection to ManMakeMusic. 

Last but by no means least, all members of the crew will be DJing for this final shindig including the label boss, Love&Mercy, Another Amit and Sketchy.
