London Lift Off Film Festival Returns This December

The Lift Off Film Festival is a free series of events showcasing the best in new independent film. With screenings running from December 1st – 6th at a variety of London locations, and a number of networking events, the Lift Off is becoming an integral part of the indie film scene – here's what the festival itself has to say –

"Lift-Off is the global exchange of exceptional talent through cinematic storytelling – starting in the British Isles and going beyond. Founded in 2010 the Lift-Off International Film Festival’s are a not-for-profit transatlantic initiative to give exposure and opportunity to British and International filmmakers whose work wouldn’t normally be picked up by the main stream film festivals."

"Staying absolutely true to our motto: “Look beyond the gloss. Put talent before technology”, Lift-Off are looking for filmmakers and script writers from Britain, and anywhere in the world who wish to have their work seen and reviewed by a diverse and exciting audience. Our festivals are held throughout the year between London, Liverpool, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Amsterdam. Winners of each festival get official selections in the proceeding Lift-Off cities, giving the independent filmmaker the opportunity to screen and market their work globally throughout the year. Lift-Off is the next evolution in cinema/theatre based distribution for indie filmmakers. All of our winners are audience choice, and we have special mentions that go out to our jury selected high scoring films who each win an Official Selection at the most appropriate proceeding event."
