Art & Culture

The last decade Ketamine has been intrinsically linked with nightlife. With its loss of coordination and vivid hallucinations, why not create a musical about it? Ketamine; The Musical will open 17-19th August at The House Of Yes, art space and club in Brooklyn. The creators of the show have even added another night, stating ‘I guess everyone just loves ket.’

The show promises an, ‘Immersive, participatory, psychoactive and dissociative spectacle. A numbing (ironically I think) and profound feeling. Time will stand still as circus, dance, balloons, horses, clowns, sugar and music, so much music swallow you hole (probably a K-hole I’m guessing).

It runs for hour and 15 minutes, however promises audience this will feel like an eternity. Tickets are on sale, pretty much keeping with the theme of ket. The cheapest ticket to purchase is ‘Midley swervy’, moving to ‘Totally Dissociated’ and then for all the real K-Hole lovers the VIP ‘Tranquilised’.
