Independent Record Market Announces Dj Line Up

Art & Culture

The Spitalfields based fourth annual Independent Record Label market is expanding this year. As well as a new section devoted to craft beer, the organisers have also announced a formidable line up of selectors to soundtrack your vinyl foraging. Led by Bullion, who's own DEEK label has pushed some of the most remarkable oddball pop of recent memory, other DJs will include  GRECO-ROMAN SOUNDSYSTEM, CLOUD BOAT, HEAVENLY JUKEBOX, DJ SUPERMARKET, REGINALD OMAS MAMODE IV, with BRILLE RECORDS and DUMMY presenting a silent disco.

The full line up of labels bringing rare, deleted and one off goods on the day is far too long for us to repeat here – although it is worth mentioning that Martin Mills, – the founder and chairman of Beggars Group, Europe’s largest Independent Label network comprising of 4AD, Rough Trade, Matador and XL Recordings – will be hosting a ‘Beggars Archive’ stall, with all sorts of treaures. Other than that, think of any great UK indie label: they're there.

The event takes place in Spitalfield's covered market, East London on Saturday July 12th from 11am – 6pm. It's free entry ,and you can find out more details over on the facebook page.
