Art & Culture

The Independent Label Market are to host their next event in a brand new location in King’s Cross on Sunday 30th October, supported by AIM – the Association of Independent Music. The event takes place in Canopy Market, a new market space in the redeveloped Granary Square and will feature a number of artisan & street food traders along with back catalogues, releases and merchandise from the likes of !K7, Faber Social, Gearbox, Late Night Tales, Soul Jazz and Wax & Stamp. The event also promises DJs programmed by SPIRITLAND, the soundsystem previously housed in in Hoxton’s elegant Merchant’s Tavern which has found a new, permanent King’s Cross home.

The Independent Label Market also returns to Old Spitalfields Market for their annual Christmas Market on Saturday 26th November. This edition welcomes some new faces including Kitsuné and Drum and Bass HQ, alongside longstanding friends such as Domino, Young Turks, Rough Trade, Hospital and Ninja Tune. The event will, as usual, run alongside the London Brewers’ Market, showcasing local breweries from London’s craft beer scene.
