Free Screening Of Italo Disco Legacy Film At Rye Wax

After the official world premiere at Berlin’s Berghain and Panorama Bar, Feel The Drive will be presenting the exclusive UK premiere of Italo Disco Legacy in South London’s Rye Wax, as part of a free entry event taking place from 4pm on Saturday 17th March.

The film takes a journey into the past and the future of Italo music through the stories of the original 80's heroes, cult DJs and the voice of the new generation of artists, radio broadcasters and fans ready to carry on the Italo Disco Legacy. 

The feature is packed full of interviews with the likes of Fred Ventura, Rago & Farina, Flemming Dalum, Steen Gjerulff (Body Electric), The Hacker, DJ Hell, Alexander Robotnick, Scotch, Albert One, Ken Laszlo, Martinelli, P. Lion, Koto, Brian Ice, Fancy, Brand Image, Marcello Catalano, Linda Jo Rizzo, Italove, Surf Dancer, Roberto Turatti, Sandro Codazzi, Daniele Baldelli, Beppe Loda, Marcello D'Azzurro, I-F, Otto Kraanen (Bordello a Parigi), Intergalactic Gary, David Vunk, Alden Tyrell, DJ Overdose, Tero & Kristiina Männikkö, Gwen De Bats (Radio Stad Den Haag), Mark du Mosch, Black Devil Disco Club, Francisco, Lorenzo Cibrario (Red Gallery London).

There will be DJs from 4pm, screening begins at 6pm. After the film, the finest Italo cuts played into the night by the Feel The Drive resident DJs Martin Lefteri and Szymek Lawik.

Jay from Private Records will be making a special guest appearance to select some serious choice cuts from his extensive record collection.
