Feelings Bring Us Egyptian Lover & Detroit In Effect

Art & Culture

East London party crew Feelings are taking over Oval Space this November to bring us a taste of the Balearic sun. Feeling's ethos being the exploration of genres, artists and movements by using heritage and current acts, they recreate that atmosphere in unusual settings – from strip clubs and terraces to churches and festivals.
Their line up for this event is armed with talent old and new; headlining the evening will be Egyptian Lover (aka Greg Broussard) and Detroit in Effect alongside support from Kasra V, The Menendez Brothers and residents Ryan Winters and Karl Fuller.

Since the 70s Egyptian Lover's been at the heart of funk and electro. His eighth release is due 30th October and has been entirely recorded with analogue equipment to stay true to that old school vibe. He produces 'intergalactic dance floor dynamite fusing hip-hop with electro.'

This will be rare UK appearance for drummer and break dancer turned DJ, Detroit in Effect. He'll be blending ghetto groove and bass-heavy sleaze.
