Just off the back of a tearing performance at Sonar, and somehow managing to survive the epic Minus beach party as well, the unstoppable Magda returns to our Room One with the sonic force that only she can bring. Expect intricate 4/4 licks that are bass-laden to devastating effect, and her impeccably distinct style of mixing, which is a perfect accompaniment to the master of intergalactic funk, Jimmy Edgar. Brimming with his usual mystical kink, Mr Edgar steps over to our stage just ahead of his second artist album, XXX (released on !K7 on 26 July). The ever-imaginative creative is launching his album on the road with a show that visually matches his aural flair, designing 12 florescent neon tubes to make an XXX on stage.

Over in Room Two, the mighty Surgeon throws down to shake the walls with a preview of his forthcoming fabric 53 mix, which features everything from Instra:mentals rolling textures to Starkeys thicker, more leading bass tones, to the throttling rhythms of Robert Hood. As Surgeon explains: Its kind of strange looking at the tracklist, but for me its very natural the way these things fit together. And really, to me, this is all techno. And as for another DJ that manages to incorporate all manner of techno cohesively connecting the dots between its many faces and sounds Berlins Len Faki is the master of shape-shifting and pushing the world of techno forward. The wildly experimental Berghain resident has an innate ability to take any dancefloor hostage, with sonic twists and tricks that make you laugh out loud one second, and close your eyes in stupor the next. A delicate precision that will pair up perfectly with the dense, detail-oriented soundworlds of Surgeon.

“Music is my being, my soul, my passion; it is who I am. I am no one without it.” Words from the wonderfully talented and diverse New Jersey artist Brothers Vibe (aka Tony Rodriguez), and the perfect summation of all of the Sushitech artists holding down Room Three. The UK based label grows from strength to strength, with each release as lovingly crafted as the next, and sonically varied as the last. Get introduce to the wide-ranging box of devoted label boss Yossi Amoyal and an enveloping, disco-tinged live set from Sushitechs latest signing, their New York Hustler (even though hes from The Netherlands), Makam.
