Electric Minds NYE 2011

Highly recommended intimate NYE event from Electric Minds with Appleblim and Jay Shepheard.

2011 has been a prolific year for electric minds. Releasing several 12” records from the label, producing two warehouse showcases for Ostgut Ton (Berghain / Panorama Bar), festival warm up parties for Lovebox, label parties for Workshop Records, We Play House Recordings, selling out another series of loft parties and working with both UK and international festivals; its fair to say in London they’re one of the go to events for today’s most respected artists and record labels.

For our annual NYE party we’re pleased to announce two of our favourite producers as our guests.  Headlining will be Appleblim, whose appearance for us at Lovebox in the summer was our personal highlight of the festival and with his remix of Skudge’s “Realtime” and his forthcoming “Moonlight” release on Vitalik on rotation for weeks, it was an easy decision to invite him to help us see the year out.

Jay Shepheard, whose appearance in April opened this year’s series of loft parties, also returns. Producing a consistently high standard of tracks over the last few years, we’re really excited at the prospect of releasing his new 12” in December and welcoming his live set to the NYE party.  In support in room 1 will be label owner, Dolan Bergin and Mark Pavitt.

Representing the 2nd room will be our friends Duff Disco (who is currently topping the Juno charts with his latest 12”) as well as DJ History’s Name Drop, Paul Crognale and one half of the Moustache Mama’s.  We’ll be rolling out the production and sound into a 2 room basement space a short walk from Shoreditch, details of which will be sent to ticket holders on the week of the party.

This party will sell out in advance, it is highly advisable to purchase in advance from Resident Advisor.
