DRUMM Ft. Rocketnumbernine Live, Tropics Live, Mister Sushi DJ, Capita! DJ

With the Experience at the forefront new monthly event DRUMM aims to excite and inspire through light and sound in equal measure whilst showcasing some of the most cutting edge live acts emerging at current. Forward thinking music from the leftfield DRUMM will turn hearts and change minds.

For the launch event we are extremely excited to have the incredible Rocketnumbernine. Having recently toured with the likes of Caribou and Four Tet these gents have to be seen to be believed and are set to dent the DRUMM stage. In support ahead of their album on Planet Mu, Tropics bring us the radiant sounds of dreamy summer nostalgia. Amongst other acts yet to be announced, Mister Sushi the man behind regular happening 44 will be on DJ duties alongside collaborator Capita! Save the date.

Rocketnumbernine

Rocketnumbernine have finally captured their unmistakably intense sound, putting it down to tape in one take for Kieran Hebdens (Four Tet) Text imprint and are beginning to reach people everywhere. Having recently toured with Four Tet, Caribou, James Holden and Nathan Fake, theyre proving to be as comfortable in a club environment as they are in a more traditional gig setting.

Tropics

The man behind Tropics is Chris Ward. Already signed to beat heavy players Planet Mu, hes a 22 year old Brit taking influences from 70′s jams, post-punk and whatever else he taped in his youth. Tropics brings us the radiant sounds of dreamy, summer nostalgia. His music has already caught the attention of Pitchfork and XLR8R who have posted up tracks by him, as well as a number of bands including Bear In Heaven and Little Dragon who he has remixed. His music is an utterly gorgeous slow motion mix that sounds like sustained euphoria.

‘Reminds you of what you love about the whole idea of dance music to begin with.’ FACT magazine
