Dj Ron To Start ‘A London Someting’ Parties At Dance Tunnel

DJ Ron is a name familiar to the heads out there. Ron was instrumental in the movement of dance music in London, from his early days playing acid house at East London's TNT Roadshow squat parties of the 80s, right through to the fracturings and mutations that saw the birth of jungle. Ron himself secured a place in the history books by running the iconic A London Some'ting record label, home to classics such as Worries in the Dance, Just For You London and Ron's own rattling breakbeat smash Crackman. Now he's returning once more to the London Some'ting brand, this time kicking off a party with the same name.
"…Like the samples used to create our music," Ron says of the night, "I want to throw parties with a mix of Djs, music and ravers…I don’t really mind what the DJs play, they’re all at the top of their game and its a pleasure having them on board”.
Taking place on July 10th, the first A London Some'ting will see Ron joined in Dalston's Dance Tunnel by fellow veteran Randall, alongside Josey Rebelle, Benton, and MC Moose, for what promises to be a smash out of UK rave sounds from house to hardcore to jungle, grime, garage and beyond. We're also hoping this one gets wheeled at one point:
