May Bank Holiday just gets better and better.
Stour Space in Hackney Wick is celebrating the opening of their new bar above the gallery/events space with a four day arts festival.
Dark experimental duo Demdike Stare headline on Saturday with an all night set, while Friday night sees the space playing host to a live performance from the London Afrobeat Collective, as well DJ sets from Afriquoi and Lobster Theremin's Moodcut & DJ Sonikku.
That's not all – expect plenty of food and drink, visual art, film screenings, a pop up record shop, and a series of workshops including sound engineering and screen printing.
Stour Space Weekender takes place 26-30 May. Daytime events are free; tickets for Fri-Sun nights are available here. Check out the poster below:
