Dance For Refuge announce International Women’s Day parties

Art & Culture

To celebrate International Women’s Day on 8th March, non-profit party series Dance For Refuge have curated two sister events in London and Manchester to raise money for Women For Refugee Women, a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable refugee women in crisis.

Taking place at FOLD and The White Hotel, in London and Manchester respectively, the former sees Bristol-based DJ Danielle and Rhythm Sister’s Liv Ayers joined by secret guests, while in Manchester, in partnership with B.L.O.O.M, Apeiron crew affiliate Solid Blake plays alongside Balamii regulars Kiara Scuro and rising London talent IMOGEN.

Running in tandem to the parties, Native Instruments will host production workshops giving women the opportunity to try their hand at music production. Dance For Refuge will also work with four women designers – Lizy Bending, Emily Eavis, Sofia Lucarelli and Caterina Bianchini – to create custom prints inspired by the invaluable work that Women for Refugee Women do, which will be sold before each event.
