Bristol Ska & Mod Festival To Take Place In Converted Skatepark

Time to iron that Ben Sherman and polish up the Docs – The Bristol Ska and Mod Festival is set to take place on Sunday April 5th, during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Alongside classic UK two tone and mod sounds from veterans Bad Manners, Secret Affair, 2Rude, Houdini Dax, The Refusal, The Q, and respected Who tribute act Who's Next, we're quite taken with the idea of watching Jam guitarist Bruce Foxton play a set entirely drawn from The Jam's back catalogue. The late 70s/ early 80s punk act weren't shy of a hit or two, and Foxton is expected to be wheeling out such killers as Town Called Malice, Eton Rifles, Going Underground, That's Entertainment, In The City and more. Tickets for the event, which is held at the Motion warehouse, recently expanded to include The Marble Factory venue, start at £20 and are available direct from the Motion website.
