Bank Holiday Weekend At Ransom Note Records Is Looking Mighty Fine

Art & Culture

Friends, this is a week filled with hope and promise – the clocks have gone forward, the first scents of spring are lingering in the air, and Easter Bank Holiday is just round the corner! Ain't no rest for the wicked though, and Ransom Note Records are here to take care of your weekend.

We're kicking things off at the Forest Gate shop on Thursday evening with an instore session from the Futureboogie crew! Man Power will be signing copies of his brand new record Barranquilla Trifle, and DJing alongside Christophe and Dave Harvey ahead of the label's 16th Anniversary Party at Corsica Studios that same night.

On Friday we're hitting the M6 and burning rubber all the way to Manchester for The Refuge's pop-up Record Fair. We'll have all sorts of special treats at our stall so come pay us a visit!

Saturday finds us back in Forest Gate for a joint visit from the Ears Have Eyes and Tone DropOut crews! You'll be able to buy copies of the newest releases from both labels, and then it's off to Deptford's Bunker Club that night for the afterparty.

We're heading south of the river on Sunday and setting up shop at the Independent Music Market at Peckham Springs. There's loads of excellent labels involved, as well as a music production workshop run by CDR, and a great lineup of DJs and live music!
