Aphex Twin To Play At Field Day 2017

Tickets for Field Day 2017 will go on sale on Thursday the 1st of December this week. The celebrated music festival has just announced that Aphex Twin will appear on the 3rd of June next year in Victoria Park for his first show in nearly a decade. The acclaimed electronic producer will play a brand new indoor space called 'The Barn' alongside a full lighting rig for two hours on the Saturday night as the festival's second headline act. The first is yet to be released. Tom Baker, the festival's founder reflected upon the announcement. 

“It's truly amazing to have Aphex Twin headline Field Day, I've been listening to him since I was 16, he played and curated some of the first ever Eat Your Own Ears nights (the most memorable being a warehouse on Brick Lane that got closed down by the police!) so it's an incredible honour to have him play our brand new indoor monolithic second main stage arena…It will be a phenomenal, mind blowing, mesmerisingly, fantastic two hours of absolute genius….AFX WOW”. 

Field Day will celebrate its eleventh year in 2017 and in the coming weeks will make several more announcements about next year's event.
