6music Festival Line-Up Revealed
Yesterday saw a wealth of artists unveiled throughout the day on BBC Radio 6Music for their annual 6Music festival, taking place on Tyneside this year from 20th-22nd February.
Local band Maxïmo Park were amongst the first announcements in a day that saw the War On Drugs, Jon Hopkins, Hot Chip, Young Fathers, Neneh Cherry, Public Service Broadcasting, Ghost Poet, Kate Tempest and plenty of other talented people added to the line-up.
Additionally, there will be a 6 Music Festival by Day (which will be ticketed separately to the night-time events) in venues in The Ouseburn and Stephenson Quarter areas of the city, on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February, 11am-6pm. The full line up of the 6 Music Festival by Day will be announced on 6 Music on Tuesday 3 February.
Tickets for each night of the festival will go on sale at 10 am across three consecutive days, for tickets and more information click here.

· Tickets for Saturday 21 February on sale on Saturday 31 January (priced £35 (plus booking fee, P&P)
· Tickets for Sunday 22 February on sale on Sunday 1 February (priced £35 (plus booking fee, P&P).
