Background Records to Return After 12-Year Absence
Andy Vaz has announced the revival of his Background Records imprint after a twelve-year hiatus, twenty years since it issued its first release: Futuristic Experiments Chapter One, a V/A compilation featuring Ectomorph, Todd Sines, Terrence Dixon and DJ Hyperactive.
In similar fashion, its comeback has been announced alongside information about the new release, another V/A compilation entitled Background Classics Volume One. Slated for release on October 15th, the 12" contains a brand-new, previously unreleased track by Vaz himself, as well as highlights from the Background discography by Kit Clayton, Rhythm Maker and Todd Sine.
Background Classics Volume One is out October 15th.
