Andrew O’Hagen Joined By Kate Tempest In Night Of Reflections On War

Faber Social is a regular event run by the long standing publisher Faber & Faber. Their first event of the year will see Scottish novelist Andrew O'Hagen joined by Kate Tempest and Edna O'Brien in reflecting on the ways in which art reflects on war – or as Faber put it,
"Should we rake through painful experiences, and try to learn from them, or are they best forgotten? Why is the truth so often buried in secrets? And how much should we keep from the people we love? These are some of the questions posed by Andrew O'Hagan's much-anticipated fifth novel,
The Illuminations, a story of love, memory and war."
Music will come from the fine chaps over at Bleep.
The event is held on 3rd February 2015 at Islington Assembly Hall, Upper Street, London N1 2UD. Doors are at 7.30pm, and tickets are available from here.
