Yamaneko Announces New Mini-Lp ‘Spa Commissions’ On Local Action

Local Action continues their seemingly never-ending hot streak with a new mini-LP from Yamaneko. Out 17th November, Spa Commissions follows his previous album Project Nautilus which came out in 2016.

Yamaneko's 2014 debut Pixel Wave Embrace was an oasis of tranquility in the midst of clogged release schedules and underheated PR drivel, and acted as a catalyst for a loose group of underground producers similarly drawing from genres as varied as new age, ambient, video game OSTs and UK bass music.

Earlier in 2017 Yamaneko was invited to create music for a spa in Europe (I mean, how fucking perfect is that), out of which was born Spa Commissions. Pre-order the album right here and listen to 'Yaeyama Islands (Setting Sun)' below:
