There were few constants in his life; locations, friendships, houses — they chopped and changed all the time. It was part and parcel of his career choice, he never stayed rooted in one place, even if he'd have liked to. There were times he'd felt like calling it a day, tapping out and finding something new to guide his path in life. But there was so much comfort in this vocation; come rain or come shine, he'd always be looked after.
Stellar producers in their own right, Rec Room Berlin member LUZ1E and Goddess Music boss DJ Swagger first teamed up under the name DJ DOOM on the latter's imprint last year. Their sophomore excursion comes via Berlin's Warning imprint: a two-tracker that delivers different flavours on each side. While the A-side brings shimmering house peppered with the pair's sensual vocals, the flip is a breaks-driven ghetto tech track that's cut for the dance floor.
