Stood perched atop the hill, he watched out from beneath the old acorn tree taking in the world as it wandered slowly past. The clouds moved quickly overhead casting scattered shadows over the dense greenery of the fields. Soon the autumn would engulf this place and the hours would grow small and dark. For now it were as if he were taking in the very last draws of summer air. Soon the smell, the taste and the feel of the warm radiant haze would be long gone.
