Danny releases his debut EP ‘Shanty Pants’ on Love Child

London label and party Love Child return after a brief hiatus with a new release: a debut EP from NYC-based producer Danny.

A collection of heavy bass, driving techno and synth cuts made for the club, ‘Shanty Pants’ explores various characteristics of queer pop culture, using chopped up samples and vocals from Athena Pasadena.

Born in the Isle of Wight, Danny now resides in New York City working as a composer and DJ. He’s better known by his stage name A Village Raid & Donnatella and has played a crucial role in the New York LGBTQIA community since moving to the city in 2012.

The EP will be available exclusively through Bandcamp and a percentage of the sales will be donated to G.L.I.T.S., a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community on a global scale.
