Launching this weekend, the new Sunday daytime party is called 'Sylvester' and will feature a no line-up, no running-order policy. Fabric have teamed up with infamous queer underground renaissance movement and party Adonis to offer the LGBTQ+ community a new alternative in the form of Sunday morning–afternoon clubbing experience at the Farringdon venue.
Shay Malt, the founder of Adonis, reflects on the importance of the new party.
“My first experience of queer clubbing in London was at fabric when they used to host DTPM every Sunday night so I feel really honoured to be teaming up with them to create Sylvester almost 20 years later. There will be nothing else like it, whether you are just leaving a party or waking up and want to dance, knowing you can come to fabric at 7am on a Sunday morning and fully immerse yourself in Sylvester will really change partying in London.”
Sylvester will be hosted in fabric’s newly renovated Room 2, which will be primarily techno led, as well as the club’s Room 3 space, which will be geared towards house, Italo and disco.
