'Dancefloor Recall', a photography exhibition inspired by the closure of nightclubs, launches this week

The launch event takes place this Thursday for one night only but the project is ongoing and the creators are looking for stories from across the UK.

'Dancefloor Recall' is a new photography project at Corsica Studios, inspired by the closure of nightclubs and nightlife.

Launching on 7th October, the exhibition, which takes place for one night only, is the brainchild of Heather Shuker and Fran Hales and will be published as a book after the event takes place.

Charting new friendships, marriages and births, as well as chance meetings and sliding door moments, the event will feature stories and portraits captured outside many of London's iconic nightlife venues, and will soon be extended to other subjects and nightclubs acorss the UK.

Alongside the portraits there will be links to audio stories and many of those captured will be at the exhibition to share their stories in person.

The project is ongoing and Heather and Fran are looking for stories from across the UK. If you have a story to tell - get in touch with Dancefloor Recall!

Entry is free to the event but a ticket is required to gain entry.
