What's the biggest lie you've ever told? Now there's a question... Perhaps you forgot to do your homework and blamed it on the dog? Maybe you skipped work and pretended to be sick? You might even have picked up a parking ticket and lied on your insurance? However, have you ever slept with an underage girl and then stated that it couldn't of been you because you were at Pizza Express... Probably not. Anyway....
This week has been busy, it's around the time of year when all attention is focussed towards the upcoming festivities and the fun which lurks around the corner. Y'know, the type of fun which can only be found whilst playing scrabble and charades with the inlaws six pints deep when you'd rather be in bed or anywhere else for that matter. Or the type of fun that happens when your Gran reveals that she's actually a huge UKIP supporter whilst chomping down on sprouts and bread sauce. Then there's the special type of fun involved in smiling as you receive yet another selection box from a family member that you haven't seen since last Christmas.
"Oh, you shouldn't have" ... Who are you again?
I'm not actually Scrooge - I love Christmas but all of this is stuff that is going to happen and that you should LOOK FORWARD TO. Just sayin'.
In the music world it's the ever exciting 'end of year' season. A time in which literally every single person you know feels entitled to list their favourite albums and releases of the year. You don't care but you read them anyway. You even consider writing your own list but then again why would you when Dave from spin class has already declared that the best album of the year is categorically and undoubtedly Patrick Topping's "Turbo Time".
Right then, here's the internet. Some of the old ones are the best...
