Have you ever felt lonely? I’m on your side. This is not how you thought it would be. Music is way too beautiful to be criticised or explained (feel it yourself). When you’ve got nowhere to hide, inner images become the perfect shelter. Isn’t it right? It’ll All Work In Boomland is an amazing example of a beautiful inner world made by the British band T2.

Pete Dunton was a member of the marvellous band Please together with Bernard Jinks while Keith Cross was a member of the rock band Bulldog Breed. When Please broke up in 1969 they formed T2. The band were originally called Morning but, after discovering an American band with the same name, they adopted the name T2. The title of the album, according to Peter Dunton meant “It’ll All Work Out In The End”.

Interesting stuff began late in the sixties/early seventies, time of transitions, changes and global disasters (see the cast below…)

The perfect recipe

A colossal imagery and poetry mixed with an aggressive bittersweetness that makes me think of Robert Wyatt and Carl Gustav Jung holding hands while listening to Led Zeppelin and reading the Red Book.

An excellent ode to solitude. As Alexander Pope once said:

Happy the man, whose wish and care (…)

Blest, who can unconcernedly find Hours, days, and years slide soft away, In health of body, peace of mind, Quiet by day.

And remember, you have to be a little lost first to find what you’re looking for. Be patient, learn, preserve positivity as much as you can and don’t forget to create happiness.
