Premiere: Stranded – Nervous Splendor

Next up on the always excellent Optimo Music is a debut EP from Nashville artist Stranded. Out 26th October on vinyl and digital, the Celine's Dilemma EP is home to four originals and a remix of the title track by RSD aka Rob Smith of seminal Bristol production duo Smith & Mighty.

Despite hailing from Nashville, Stranded has a longing appreciation for the world's great cities of dance – whether it be Detroit, Manchester or Berlin – hence his moniker. Stirring up a vibrant melting pot of post-punk, dub, disco and synth pop, the EP throbs with communal energy, tinged with modern day alienation and unease.
