On their way home they'd taken a wrong turn, they were in unknown territory. It was deafly silent, something didn't seem right. The streets were plastered with old newspaper articles and Missing Person posters; people who, they imagined, were likely never found. This was the underbelly of the city, where the vigilantes and the criminals ruled the streets. You didn't want to be caught offguard in a place like this, you needed your wits about you. One false move and your fate would be determined… 

For their first release of the roaring 20s, Parisian imprint Global Warming bring together four artists with close ties to the label for a VA release of leftfield club cuts. EP curator and label boss Malcolm kicks off proceedings with bass-heavy kicks and celestial vocal samples, followed by Ouai Stéphane and Jon Beige's contributions, who add their own signature touch with frantic bass lines, intricate drum patterns and haunting industrial rhythms. Our pick of the bunch comes from Comic Sans Records and Antinote alumni Slowglide, who makes his debut on the label with chugging post-dubstep that could soundtrack the nightclubs of Gotham City…
